Face Masks For All
The COVID-19 pandemic is not over across the United States.
The Comedy Resistance is committed to providing masks to vulnerable communities and working families that can't afford them. Our brave volunteers have distributed tens of thousands of reusable, hand-washable face masks to populations in dire need, along with vital information on how to protect themselves and their community during this pandemic.
As of April of 2021 our organizers have delivered
- 5,000 masks in Los Angeles (Skid Row, McArthur Park)
- 1,000 masks in San Francisco
- 2,500 masks to shelters in Tijuana for asylum seekers left stranded by the U.S. government
- 7,000 masks to Navajo Nation
- 500 masks to Austin and San Antonio
- 6,000 masks in New York
- 3,000 masks in Georgia for the January 5th runoffs
The need continues to be overwhelming, and we're asking for your help — our supplier has agreed to sell us quality masks at a generous discount, so $1 = 1 mask!
